Honestly, I don't think they will ever be a single country again, only that when the ultra-totalitarian regime of North Korea falls, the 2 will create a confederation. And already in my monarchical dreams that founded the second empire of Korea restoring the monarchy (you would be surprised if you knew the number of countries that would be better off if they were still monarchies).
